When critical lab results are required at the point-of-care, there are many instances when information is not readily available. Often times, results are only available during regular business hours, when the labs or physician offices are open, and new lab results can often take hours, days or weeks for results, potentially compromising the patient's health. By connecting to My WorkspaceSM, providers can access test results instantly from the labs we interface with, submit lab work requests and received results online. Physicians can also share these results through a HIPAA secure messaging system so that they can get the information to the other physicians or clinical staff who are working collaboratively on that patients care. When providers are able to access test results quickly, they are able to make more educated decisions; ensuring patients receive the quality care they require. Benefits
