In addition, the free base package of My WorkspaceSM allows practices to communicate with one another in a HIPAA compliant secure message center. Q: How long has My WorkspaceSM been in existence? A: My WorkspaceSM was developed by my1HIE® with Covisint and began production in 2006. My WorkspaceSM has now been live for over two years and connects more than 3,700 affiliated physicians. Q: Who benefits from My WorkspaceSM? A: My WorkspaceSM is brought to you by your physician organization and therefore, includes your affiliated physicians, your contracts and is also tied to your incentive plans and opportunities. My WorkspaceSM gets all the right information to the physician, when and where they need it most, at the point of care. This results in more educated clinical decisions, more comprehensive data, less redundancy and a higher quality of care; benefiting both the healthcare community and your patients. A: My WorkspaceSM currently connects four Physician Organizations in Southeast Michigan; representing approximately 3,700 physicians and is expanding to new healthcare providers every day. Q: What technology is required to participate in my1HIE®'s Health Information Exchange? A: The minimum hardware requirements are a 1.6 GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM and 60 GB Hard Drive.
